Welcome to Veterans For Healing (VFH), a Veteran centered interdisciplinary clinic assisting Veterans and their families navigate the turbulent reality of life after service.
Established in early 2022, VFH has cultivated strong partnerships with top-tier producers, industry experts, and social organizations across the country. Our presence spans all Canadian provinces and territories, boasting state-of-the-art cannabis growing facilities, cutting-edge medical clinics, and a team of in-house health practitioners.
Our comprehensive client care approach encompasses not only providing access to medical professionals, but also offering essential resources for a holistic healing transformation. From administrative assistance to telemedicine appointments, personalized assessments, and ongoing patient follow-ups, we strive to ensure that all necessary support is readily available.
Our ultimate vision is to help Veterans live a life unburdened by suffering, with the ability to manage their pain and trauma, and rediscovering a profound sense of purpose and meaning. MEET THE TEAM
Fabian Henry
Fabian Henry, a native of Nova Scotia, is a former Canadian Armed Forces soldier deeply committed to the well-being and aftercare of veterans. With a remarkable career path, Fabian specialized in combat engineering within the Canadian Armed Forces, serving on six deployments for Canada to locations such as Afghanistan, Haiti, Pakistan, and Eritrea. His experiences on the frontlines, combined with his strong work ethic, propelled him to the rank of Sergeant in under 10 years. Notably, Fabian also acquired specialized skills as a combat diver and parachutist, further enhancing his expertise within his field.
Following his military journey, Fabian’s leadership style lead him to spearheading the development of precise processes for treating veterans on their path to recovery. As an award-winning social entrepreneur and veteran advocate, Fabian Henry has founded multiple corporations and non-profit organizations, strategically combining their strengths to create an integrated platform focused on serving veterans grappling with life post service.
Fabian’s passion for this cause stems from his personal experience with adversity. Throughout his 12 years of dedicated service, he encountered a range of physical and mental health challenges, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), hearing loss, tinnitus, and even malaria. In the face of these hardships, Fabian became entangled in a cycle of prescription painkillers, ultimately leading to addiction and a daily intake of nine pills. Unfortunately, treatment options for PTSD remain limited, affecting an estimated 10 to 20 percent of veterans in North America each year.
Inspired by his own journey to overcome these obstacles, Fabian Henry has made it his life’s mission to revolutionize the landscape of veteran care. Through his visionary leadership, he thrives in fostering a supportive and compassionate environment where veterans can find hope, healing, and renewed purpose.
Fabian Henry
Fabian Henry is an award-winning executive and veteran advocate with several successful exits and extensive experience in the cannabis vertical. He often shows a rare ability to be able to translate complex trauma needs from a unique patient perspective into plain speech.
Combining all of the above with his passion for serving the veteran community, Fabian has become a true leader and innovator in Canada setting up 14 medical clinics across the country in 24 months and registering over 35,000 medical patients in two countries.
Early in Fabians career, he specialized in combat engineering through the Canadian Armed forces deploying 6 times for Canada to places like Afghanistan, Haiti, Pakistan, and Eritrea. His experiences and work ethic lead him to the rank Sargent in under 10 years along with being a qualified combat diver and parachutist for his trade as specialty skills. Fabian’s proven ability in his military career would serve well in the leadership style required to pioneer precision process to treat PTSD symptoms and recover.
In 2016, Fabian was instrumental in designing the first MMJ Patient Manager system in Canada under Knalysis Technologies as part owner bringing ground-breaking new software to the cannabis industry that tracks the efficacy of medical cannabis in treating symptoms. Knalysis Tech successfully sold in 2017 to Canada House Wellness Group (CHV:CSE)
In 2018, Fabian invested as part owner with Near Threat Analytics, providing real-time information on the status of various types of threats around the globe using cutting-edge A.I. which sold in March, 2020 to Novus Health, a company offering services in the Health and Travel industry in North America and Europe.
Today, Fabian has taken the leadership and philanthropic roll in developing a 4 Pillars of Healing “Heros Journey” back to the spirit.
